David Rhea

Welcome

David Rhea is an underwater enthusiast and his life is a testimony to that fact!

The love of scuba diving began at age 9 in the lakes of TN and developed into a career that has taken David around the world as a tourist, videographer, photographer, researcher and explorer. To expand on the love of diving, David joined the SCUBAPRO team in 1996 and was a very successful dive retailer in TN for many years prior.

Teaching Cave Diving has been a passion of David’s for over 20 years. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for Global Underwater Explorers and has been active in several other diving organizations.

Underwater photography is more than a hobby...it borders on an obsession and David’s work clearly shows his love of the underwater world. Whether it’s a wall in the Caribbean, reefs in the Red Sea or caves in Florida, Mexico or Australia, David’s photos tell a rich story. His photos have been published in a variety of magazines.

David and his family live in Gainesville Florida.
